Our Early Learning Program
At Innovative Learning Academy, our programs are designed by scientists and implemented by experts to ensure your child receives the gold standard of care.
We use an individualized approach based in science and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach children new skills. We provide services related to skill-building and targeted behavior intervention using a compassionate and dignified approach.
Our interactive learning approach supports each client's holistic learning process. The goal of this program goes beyond teaching children what to learn by focusing on teaching children how to learn.
Through our preschool life skills groups, children learn communication and social skills that are critical to early school success. This includes friendship skills, following routines, communicating with others, and daily living skills like toileting.
We use a holistic, skill building approach to teaching clients alternatives to engaging in problem behaviors. Our practices are rooted in safety and dignity while providing meaningful and effective research-based interventions to make a lasting impact.
Play is essential to our program at Innovative Learning Academy. Each play group supports children in the development of creativity, imagination, motor skills, communication skills, and social skills including flexibility and problem solving!
Our instructors specialize in teaching functional communication to children who are new to or are currently using a device to communicate. This is done through a combination of play and interactive lessons using evidence-based strategies that have been proven to be effective.
At Innovative Learning Academy we offer a multitude of services, not only for our clients, but for families as well. With our program, caregivers can expect to receive support catered to when and where they need it most.
In the Innovative Food Lab children get the opportunity to explore new smells, tastes, textures, and overall sensory experiences. They have the chance to try different foods, learn different ways to engage with their food, and how to create dishes with their peers.
In this class, children experience learning, communication, and flexible thinking through art and creativity.
With art, we support the development of creative skills, building self-awareness, self-regulation skills, and social awareness.
In this group, each child has the chance to shine! Children have the opportunity to learn new skills including coordination of movements, memory skills, social skills, and creativity while groovin’ to the music and showing off their new moves.
